Officers travel alarm clock with compas - Brass, Wood - 1880/1900

Description
Officers travel alarm clock with compas - Brass, Wood - 1880/1900
Mechanical - more day movement - Alarm clock

A rare original Pfeilkreuz Officer's travel alarm clock with a working compass.
It has a walnut case and it is finished with i.a. brass legs and a carrying handle.
The movement runs perfectly and the alarm clock also sounds on time.
It has an enamel dial with minor damage, which can probably mostly be fixed by cleaning.
The doors are secured then they are closed. They only open when you push the button on top of the case, they are then pushed open by four springs. The carrying handle also closes the doors when it is put down.
The movement and alarm are set using the same button on the back of the movement; pushed in for the alarm and pulled out for the time.
In short: a very beautiful and rare clock.
.
It will be shipped well-packaged and registered.
Can also be picked up in Uden / the Netherlands.
