A solid silver teapot entirely guilloché by Odiot.
1st grade (950) Minerva hallmark
Odiot's goldsmith's mark and the mention Odiot in full spelling.
Completely serviced by a goldsmith.
The cartridges on the belly are blank (no monograms or crests).
Founded in 1690, the silversmith Odiot saw his talent rewarded with imperial orders from Napoleon I, and then in all the courts of Europe (supplier to the Court of his Majesty the Imperial Czar) and to the high aristocracy. Odiot’s works are present in all the major museums in the world. He is without comparison, the most prestigious of all French silversmiths.
