Birgitt Busz lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In her work she refers to our collective memory and incorporates philosophers such as Nietzsche and Sloterdijk, the romantic paintings of Caspar David Friedrich, the stories of Murakamien, the tradition of cartoons, all adapted to her own, very personal style.
She masters different techniques, has a special use of colour and is admired for her observations about modern society. Her work can be found in private collections in Europe and America but also at international galleries. She has had many exhibitions, nationally and internationally.
This painting comes from the company collection of EY.
