Description
Christian Armenian - Kelim - 230 cm - 200 cm

Hand-woven kelims made by Armenians are extremly rare and hard to find in Turkey. Most of the Armenians emigrated from Turkey. Rare Armenian kelims would often have Christian themes. The thickness of the kelims are very thin. It is used for decorative purposes because it has got holy cross in these rug. Christian Armenians usually hung it on the wall of their house or churches in Turkey to show their religion. This rug is one of the rarest kelim that I mentioned.

The thickness of the kelim is 1mm.

It has a good condition but it is restored. It has got several marks of early made restoration. However, it is in a good position according to its age. it is very difficult to find this type of knitted kelim. The kelim washed with non-chemical human hair shampoo. It is clean and ready to use.
