Amazing table bell in the shape of a tortoise, made by Pradella silversmith for Buccellati jeweller.With a spring mechanism perfectly working. It gives a ringing sound by pressing the shell.

Buccellati is the greatest Italian silversmith and jeweller, loved by Italian aristocracy and high society and renowned all over the world for his Nature-inspired masterpieces.

Ilario Pradella has made many important works for Buccellati, and some of his creations were auctioned at Sotheby's (please, see the screenshot of an item sold by this auction house).
