Ancient Roman Terracotta Oil Lamp with Luna holding a sceptre and wearing crescent - 11.2×8.5×4.6 cm
Circa 3rd AD.

Roman oil lamp in pale orange terracotta. The discus decorated with the bust of a left facing god or emperor, holding sceptre and wearing a crescent on his head-dress. Solid handle at the rear and maker’s mark to base.
Roman colonies of Northern Africa: Circa 3rd century AD.
Condition: Complete and intact,surfaces and the design a little worn.
