Three Luristan bronze arrowheads of different forms. Each with central rib for strengthening and tang for fixing to the wooden arrow shaft.
Length of each: 22 cms; 11.8 cms; and 6.9 cms.
Luristan area of Western Persia: Luristan; circa 900-700 B.C.

Condition: Good bronze with patina and light encrustations.

Throughout the Ancient World, from Greece to Persia, battles raged. The skilled Ancient Persian craftsmen developed great skill in bronze working, producing some of the finest weaponry then available.
