Only 2.41 kg of this fall is known which has been classified by us.

HEDs are meteorites from Asteroid VESTA, the second largest asteroid in the Solar System, and located in the asteroid belt, which is between Mars and Jupiter.

HEDs are classified into 3 major types. Howardites, Eucrites and Diogenites

The piece now shown is a superb Diogenite, in which you can appreciate its composition, as well as the multitude of its olivine crystals
