Exceptional, rare and large boxwood okimono depicting the Ryu dragon, fully articulated both in the intricate snake-like body with scales and spines, and in the limbs.
Movable jaw and tongue. Mother of pearl eyes with horn inlays.
It is easier to come across an object of this kind with defects and shortcomings that negatively affect the value of the sculpture.
The object is in excellent condition and in patina; generally objects of this kind have noticeable flaws along the horns, sometimes absent eyes and tongue, missing scales and defective articulated structure.

In very good condition.
