2017 will mark the fiftieth anniversary of the world's greatest comic book anti-hero and Bologna has decided to pay tribute to him with an extremely important exhibition. From the 3rd November 2016 to 19th March 2017, Palazzo Pepoli will host an endless collection of works by Pratt, including the legendary 164 original artworks of Una ballata del mare salato, the story in which Corto Maltese made his first appearance back in 1967, anticipating and embodying the rebellious and nonconformist spirit of the ‘68 generation. The catalogue of the exhibition will collect the most interesting and iconic materials of Pratt's production. A must-have for the many readers of Corto.
