Profiles of the Bands:
P.F.M. Premiata Forneria Marconi
Italian progressive rock band founded in 1970, still active, after many changes in their musical direction.
SBB is acclaimed as the best Polish rock band of the past 45 years. "The three musicians that revolutionized Polish rock", "Beyond doubt the most prominent representatives of progressive rock in Poland": it is only a mere sample of the way the band has been referred to.
"True Myth" was formed in London, Ontario as an offshoot of a class project by students at Fanshawe College - a music school. Tom Treumuth was the brainchild and keyboardist who helped the band secure a deal with Warner Bros. Records in 1979. Their debut album was the first digital album recorded in Canada and the second in the world (the first being Stevie Wonders' 'Secret Life Of Plants').
Progressive rock band from Toronto, Canada founded in 1976 by Cameron Hawkins and Nash The Slash. The group has undergone several line-up changes over the years, with Cameron Hawkins being the only constant member. Their material tends to be centered around space and science-fiction themes, although they also pursued a mainstream pop sound during the mid 1980s before disbanding.
