Sheet trimmed along the framing line, on laid paper, in good condition, on with restorations at the corners and small tears, visible particularly when backlit (please see photos).
On bottom centre "Matio Cadorin Forma in Padoa", on the right number "3" of the series "Gli dei marini". Small collection stamp and handwritten notes in pencil on the back.
Beautiful and rare copy, not signed but attributed with certainty to Giulio Carpioni already by Bartsch, who traced it back to the first phase of his work. The artist made the entire series of 6, here plate no. 3, which Fialetti dedicated to Nicolò Crasso and which, one after the other, would form a long frieze with marine deities.
