The Ubaldini were a noble family, which governed on the Mugello from the 7th century to 1373 (Ubaldini della Pila, Conti del Mugello).
Later, a collateral branch (Ubaldini della Carda, Counts of Apecchio) survived until their extinction in 1752.
Perhaps of Longobard origin, they built numerous castles and fortresses.

" La Vita Di Niccola Acciaioli..".
Pp. 25/26, corresponding to the folded plate, are originally mistakenly placed between pp. 50/51.
Some browning and extinct traces of woodworm, without in any way affecting the readability of the text.
Old handwritten elements on the edges.
The first blank sheet is missing.
