Arne Jacobsen - Stelton - Salad bowl + servers, mint condition in original box - Cylinda Line

Description
Arne Jacobsen - Stelton - Salad bowl + servers, mint condition in original box - Cylinda Line
Denmark - 2000-present - Steel (stainless)

Arne Jacobsen’s Cylinda-line series for Stelton, launched in 1967, became an immediate success, winning both Danish and international design awards in the late 1960s. His innovative use of lightly brushed, seamless stainless steel in pure, clean cylindrical forms was a sensation and has remained popular ever since. Cylinda-line items are featured in many international design museums, for example being included in the permanent collections at both MOMA in New York and the V&A in London. A true Danish design classic and perfect example of Scandinavian minimalism.

These elegant items are fine examples from the series. The sleek cylindrical salad bowl (24x24x14cm) is in unused mint condition, complete with original packing. Photos show the bowl from all 4 sides. The salad servers (31.5x9x4cm) are in superb near mint condition.

These fantastic minimalistic pieces are aesthetically pleasing and would make a fine addition to any mid-century modernist collection.

I always take great care packing (see reviews) and ship securely with insurance.
