This is an enamelled Holiday four-panel from the nineteenth century.
This travel icon consists of four parts and is also called tetraptychon. It is beautifully decorated with blue and white enamel. On a couple of spots some enamel is missing and the piece is a bit worn, but it is generally in good condition. The three left wings show all kinds of festive scenes, such as the entrance into Jerusalem or the Ascension. At the right wing, only the façade is decorated with a festive scene. The four events below are worships of the Mother of God. In folded condition, the cross of Christ can be seen on the front, surrounded by floral motifs.
