The photos were taken by rotating the chandelier by 360 degrees, to highlight that there are no defects, but only slight signs of age and that it is in excellent condition.
This chandelier was an integral part of the furnishings of a closed showroom.
Achille Castiglioni (1918-2002) was one of the greatest lighting designers in the world, he has collaborated for brands such as: Kartell, Zanotta, Flos, Bernini, Siemens, Knoll, Poggi, Lancia, Ideal Standard, Arflex, Alessi) obtaining a international fame.
An icon of Italian design and part of the permanent collections of the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and the MoMA in New York, along with fourteen other works of his, many other important museums around the world also exhibit his works.
Achille Castiglioni’s studio located in Piazza Castello at no.27 is a museum combined with the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
His other design objects have become icons of the Arco Lamp
the Mezzadro and Sella (1957), the Sanluca armchair (1959), the Allunaggio seat (1962), the Ovio and Paro glasses (1983).
