Pablo Picasso and Luís Miguel Dominguín were very close, they shared a passion for bullfighting.
Picasso asked Dominguín to write the prologue for his work. Not knowing how a prologue is written, Dominguín writes a deep reflection on life, gentleness, life in the countryside, animals, shows and fight to death, a simple and modest reflection, without adornments.
