Franka - Dédicace in Portfolio "De Serie" compleet in map - First edition - (1990/2018)

De Serie was made because I like to draw large plates. So a series of large illustrations was made that could be in the Franka comic series.

Each series has four plates and features its own topic; so far: TEGENSPEELSTERS, KOSTUUMS, VOERTUIGEN, AMERIKAANSE AUTO'S uit de FIFTIES, STEDEN and STRANDEN.

The title page of the first series bears a commission drawing derived from De Wraak van Het Vrachtschip: Franka and Loloa near the seaplane converted to a boat, which they use to hunt the Noorderzon. Ink and watercolour on yellow cardboard, creating beautiful colour effects, 40x30cm, signed
