Refined okimono depicting a man sitting on a root while drinking.

The whole branched base is beautiful
In very good overall condition.
Signed in red lacquer under the root.


Japanese artefact from the Meiji period (circa 1890–1910).
The item was produced prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations on ivory trade.
The item comes with a certificate of authenticity that will be sent to the buyer.
