Master silversmiths: Atkin Brothers for Leuchars and Son

The Leuchars company was founded in London in 1794. In 1870, the company opened a branch run by his son at 2 Rue de la Paix in Paris under the name Leuchars & Son.

Hallmarks:

Crown for the City of Sheffield on the neck and trim

Lion passant for sterling silver on the neck and inside the lid.

French Swan hallmark for foreign sterling silver products on the lid and inside.

Leuchars and Son, Geffroy Succr, Paris, Made in England: inside the lid.

Height: 20 cm
