All my pieces come from the private collection of my father, the Galician writer and archaeologist Pedro Díaz Álvarez.
It is probably the widest collection of palaeolithic tools from the Ancorian - Camposanquian lithic industry, characteristic of the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula.
All the pieces were found and collected during the 1960s and 1970s.
Some of the pieces by Pedro Díaz Alvarez are found in Galician museums: Museo Municipal Quiñones de León, in Vigo and Museo der Mar Massó in Bueu, Pontevedra among others.
