Volume with a period black percaline binding, smooth spine adorned with the title in golden stamping.
" Having been requested by the people to the east to come and visit them, and also being anxious to discover whether the road from Mananjara to Fianarantsoa was a practical one for men carrying goods, I so arranged my workin town that ... i could make a short visit to the various churches and stations between here and Mananjara on the coast".
Fianarantsoa is a city in the highlands of Madagascar, capital of Fianarantsoa province and capital of the Upper Matsiatra region.
