Digital address 03, works on DCC and Motorola (Märklin Digital) With front- and end-signal lighting on one end that alternates with changes in the direction of travel. With LED interior lighting. Converted from 2-rail to 3-rail Weathered Due to increased capacity demand on the route Amsterdam – Brussels in the early 1970s, 8 RD's were converted, after a successful test drive in 1974, to a control car for Benelux trains in pull and push operation (WRDk). In that capacity, these carriages served until 1987, when they were replaced by the newly built carriages on the basis of the ICR design in yellow-red livery.
