Ancient Egyptian Limestone. Polychrome red, black and blue sizable male head, 23 x 12,8 cm
New Kingdom, 18th Century BCE

Representation of a male face with an elongated face and not very pronounced rounded chin. It has the typical Egyptian features: large, elongated eyes, marked by a kohl line, black painted eyebrows, long nose with slightly widened nostrils and a fleshy mouth. The head is touched by a tripartite wig decorated with horizontal bands that stops at forehead level.
