Entirely handwritten letter by the French writer George Sand.
The letter has no dating and is estimated to date back between 1850 and 1860. It is addressed to an indefinite Ms. Falcinpin (?). In the letter, the writer speaks of some payments and receipts of which, however, nothing is known.
George Sand, pseudonym of Amantine (or Amandine) Aurore Lucile Dupin (Paris, 1 July 1804 - Nohant-Vic, 8 June 1876), was a French writer and playwright.
She is considered among the most prolific authors in the history of literature and is the author of numerous novels, short stories and theatrical plays; among her most illustrious writings are: Indiana, Lélia, Consuelo, La Mare au Diable, La Petite Fadette, François le Champi and the autobiography Story of my life (Histoire de ma vie).
