In good condition

Small vinaigrette / perfume box!

Silver on the inside is gold-plated, beautiful floral engravings on the lid!
In good condition, age-related signs of wear and tear (see photos)

This perfume box was actually used by a woman, mainly in the Victorian period,
to use in the case of an oncoming fainting spell.

Embossing (hallmark):
-Lion on the left
-Maker’s mark ‘TN’ (Thomas Newbold)
-Revenue stamp (George IV 1820-1830)
-City stamp (anchor = Birmingham)
-Manufacturing date ‘D’ (1827)
