Complete Gurkha regiment large Kukri knife with buffalo horn blade in leather sheath, including chak-mak and karda - Nepal - 1940–1945

Original legendary weapon, Nepal, 1940–1945. This curved Kukri knife was the tactical weapon of a soldier in the legendary British Gurkha Regiment. Traditionally forged from ferry steel, fitted in a grip of buffalo horn fitted in brass. Complete with the leather sheath, in which another two small knives are set, the chak-mak and karda, for sharpening the kukri. Length of kukri 42 cm, with a blade of 29 cm.
