Original vintage hand drill made by IXION, Germany, in the 1960s In perfect working order, the wooden crank and handle are adjustable and allow, moving them, to work with two different speeds. Complete with shoulder/chest support. In excellent condition, with its original enamel intact, it would look brand new were it not for the slight aging patina on the mandrel. Dimensions (including handles): height 34 cm, width 23 cm, depth 6 cm. Weight: approx. 1.4 kg. The IXION brand belongs to the homonymous German factory founded in 1919 by Otto Häfner. The factory produced drilling and milling / grinding machines until 2011, when it ceased to operate.
