La Stilografica company was founded in 1923 in Genoa, in via XX Settembre no. 192/r. The company produced very high quality pens, including the famous Contessa pens, which Armando Simoni, owner of Omas, then resold under the Minerva brand. In addition, the company patented fountain pen stands, which were introduced in 1927. Unfortunately, the company shut down in 1950.
The pen at auction is a high quality pen, still writing very well after over 80 years. It is an oversized pen, inspired by the Duofold Stremline, the clip and rings are in 18kt gold.
