Napoleon III clock triptych in burnished bronze and griotte red marble.
The clock has an imposing scalloped marble base surrounded by a finely chiselled gilded bronze garland.
The upper part features a cup decorated with faces of mythological figures.
The two handles are in the shape of twisted shoots propagating across the entire cup.
The two cups feature the same scenes of mythological characters and end with two lids in the shape of puttos.
The base is also made of griotte red marble and surrounded by a finely chiselled gilded bronze garland.
Condition: In very good condition; the mechanism needs to be checked
Origin: France, 1860/1867.
