Lovely metal okimono 置物, coated in a silver hue, shaped like a 5-tiered pagoda, majestically upheld by four mythical Kirin 麒麟. Two of the Kirin gaze at the pagoda, while the other two look over their backs.
Period: Japan – Mid-/Late-Shôwa period (Mid-/Late-20th century).

The Kirin, or Qilin in Chinese, is a mythical creature known in Chinese and other East Asian cultures.
