General Douglas MacArthur signed the peace documents with a Duofold Big Red that he had borrowed from his wife - the original pen has been lost forever. Parker released this limited edition Duofold Centennial in 1995 and the 96 year Jean MacArthur, the widow of Douglas MacArthur, was offered number 1 (of 1945) in a private ceremony. Each of the 1945 hand-crafted, individually numbered, Limited Edition Duofold pens is created from a solid block of delicate, orange acrylic, with the limited edition number engraved on the clip screw. In the solid 18K gold cap is embedded the Ruptured Duck, used by WWII veterans, accompanied by the Five Stars of general Douglas MacArthur. This is a full set and a rare opportunity for collectors!
