Cannubi-San Lorenzo is the highest part of the hill of the Cannubi. It's a parcel characterized by a microscopic extension: exposed to the east/ south east has just a fifth of a hectare and is cultivated in ancestral way, without any mechanical support. It boasts a central body made peculiar by the presence of stumps very old. We harvest a few precious grapes from these rows, we vinify them in the traditional way and let the result refined in large format bottles for at least ten years. In the glass the wine shows an extraordinary complexity: the smell is refined, kaleidoscopic, punctuated by notes of spices and orange; the mouth is fine and classic: a hook with the land of Langa. The long stay in glass every time seems to open a window, lets us look through the hole lock, but there is still a lot to wait for. Time flows slow in Barolo.
