Later, his skills were highly regarded, and he even worked as a swordsmith for the Owari clan. ・Munetsugu was such an excellent swordsmith that he is also known as the best of the Bizen-den(備前伝) swordsmiths in the Shin-shin-to(新々刀) period. ・It is said that Munetoshi's skills were highly regarded and that he sometimes left behind works that surpassed those of his masters. ・It is truly regrettable that he was forced to give up sword making due to the decree to abolish swords in the Meiji era. Therefore, there are only a few surviving pieces of his work, and each one is a valuable legacy of his work. 【Blade/condition】 ・The blade is in very good + condition. ・The sword is wide and 70 cm in length, and the blade is firm and powerful. ・The Hamon is strong and beautiful, making the sword very suitable for appreciation. ・Although this sword is unmarked, it has been authenticated as the work of the highly skilled Koyama Munetoshi by NBTHK, and is highly recommended for its excellent workmanship. 【Koshirae】 ・Tsuba and Menuki are designed with floral motifs and have a gorgeous structure. ・The color of Tsuka is also vivid, with green as its base color. ・Saya is painted in black and has a subdued coloring, creating a harmonious and beautiful finish to Koshirae as a whole. 【Attention before bid】 ・This is a truly domestic Japanese sword that has never left Japan. When exporting, an export permit must be obtained. It takes about 20 business days from the time the buyer makes payment to the time the transportation process begins. This is because exporting Japanese swords requires permission from the Agency for Cultural Affairs. ・Export of Japanese swords from Japan to other countries is restricted. Depending on the situation of the shipping company and your country of residence, it may not be possible to ship. We will of course do our best to send the item, but if no carrier is available, we have no choice but to cancel the transaction. (So far we have been able to transport them without any problems in most cases.) ・Regardless of the carrier's situation, China and Russia are banned from importing Japanese swords.
