The vineyards, facing south and south-west, are located at an optimal height, between 250 and 450 meters above sea level, and have their roots in a terroir rich in sand, clay and calcium. The grapes, once harvested during the manual harvest, ferment alcoholically in steel, macerating for 30 days and also carrying out malolactic fermentation. We then move on to the aging phase, carried out for 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels, for another 24 months in French oak barrels and, finally, after bottling, for 4 months directly in glass. Brunello di Montalcino “Castelgiocondo” reveals itself to the eye with a compact and not very transparent ruby ​​red color.
