Artist: Ikeno Taiga池大雅 (1723-1776), a famous literati painter and calligrapher of the Edo period, is known as the representative of Nanga painters together with Yusa Buson. His technique combines Chinese ink painting with the traditional Rin school of Japanese techniques, and combines Western painting to create a unique personal style.
