Iron Tsuba verwerkt met Amida Yasuri 阿弥陀鑢 - Samoerai - Japan
This is a tsuba (sword guard) with a beautiful continuous wavy pattern, which appears to have been created using a round "Amida Yasuri."
The "Amida Yasuri" is a type of traditional Japanese metalworking tool. When this file is used to process metal, it leaves a surface pattern reminiscent of the Amida Buddha, characterized by continuous waves.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some areas of rust, so please refer to the photos for details.
