The left panel features an array of delicate plants, including soft pink-white hibiscus 芙蓉 (fuyô), dark ivy leaves 蔦 (tsuta), blue bell flowers 桔梗 (kikyô), and a dragonfly 蜻蛉 (tonbo) perched gracefully on a blade of pampas grass 薄 (susuki).
The right panel continues this botanical display with the early blossoms of a white magnolia 白木蓮 (haku’moku’ren), a prominent star lily カノコユリ (kanokoyuri), and several roses emerging from the bushes, all under the watchful eyes of a few fluttering yellow butterflies dancing above the plants.
