Additionally, shortly after the war, he published "Hokusai Ron" (Discussions on Hokusai) and continued to excel in the field of Hokusai studies, contributing to positioning ukiyo-e within the academic realm of art history. The Narasaki Collection, gathered through these research activities, contains valuable art and historical materials for art history research, and the Sumida Hokusai Museum houses approximately 480 items from this collection.
