1. Cargo was a Dutch progressive / blues rock band that issued their one and only original studio album "Cargo" in 1972. For those who do not know this band: Cargo was formed in Amsterdam by, amongst ohers, brothers Ad and Jan De Hont both on guitars. Their music developed in a killer twin-guitar attack much in the line of Wishbone Ash around their "Argus" album, with the two brothers playing delightfully long and cooperative guitar lines that intertwine beautifully. This compilation has the original album and a lot of extras and was issued in The Netherlands 2012 on Pseudonym – CDP-1104 as a remastered 2CD in digipack 3-panel sleeve with a 16-page full colour booklet with lots of information. It is very rare, no offer is found on discogs. 2. Cosmic Dealer was another short-lived band from Dordrecht, the Netherlands, and "Crystallization" is their only studio album issued in 1972. For those who do not know this band: “Crystallization” is a real gem in the Dutch rockscene. Their 3-part singing, combined with a melodic approach brings memories of Traffic and Pretty Things - check e.g., Child Of The Golden Sun, the title song and The Fly. This compilation has the original album and a second "sessions" CD and was issued in The Netherlands on Pseudonym CDP-1106 as a remastered 2CD in digipack 3-panel sleeve with a 16-page full colour booklet with lots of information. 3. Finch was an instrumental symphonic / progrock band founded in The Hague. In the seventies, they issued three original albums "Glory of the Inner Force", "Beyond Expression" and "Galleons of Passion". Despite comparisons with Yes and Genesis, the band was a bit underrated because of the attention for some other great Dutch progrock bands like Earth & Fire, Kayak and Focus. This remastered 3CD compilation on Pseudonym CDP-1107 comes in a digipack 4-panel sleeve with a 20-page full colour booklet with lots of information. The 3CD combines tracks of Finch's three studio albums with demos and live tracks. All three packages are from my personal collection and almost deserve a Mint condition label - conservatively, I graded them NM. An important side consideration is that the original Cargo album and many of the original Finch songs, are not available on Spotify - so grab this chance!
