NIKKE NAEME (1984) is a multidisciplinary artist from the Netherlands. He is an observer of the human psyche and behavior, with a focus on the dark side. Shortcomings, flaws and doubt are recurring themes in his work. Always looking for flip sides, both as a person and as an artist, a slightly schizophrenic character emerges. NIKKE’s work is represented in private collections all over Europe and the USA. His work is on continuously display in Amsterdam. NIKKE’s fanbase of collectors is growing fast. The value of his works is increasing and will continue to rise. NIKKE’s inspirations are musical artists like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Portishead, The Cure, David Bowie and The Mars Volta to name only a few. Visual inspirations come from Francis Bacon, David Lynch, Stanley Donwood, Basquiat, Corbijn, Ralph Steadman, Karel Appel and a lot of modern Instagram artists.
