Beautiful crafmanship, imposing Temple Horse from India in superb condition. It has a bright polychrome hand painted surface. Sometimes used to hang Lingams on them, which is why it has a pronounced genital area.
This is an extraordinary well preserved example of a ceremonial decorative horses from Rajasthan, South India with which noble childrem would play with in the temples.
Condition: Wear and tear consistent with its age. No repairs. Crack on the right leg
This piece will be packed pessionally and shipped with tracking with a third company, hence the higher shipping costs.
