Asialepidotus is a species classified under Halecomorphi, their body is spindle-shaped; fin spines are undeveloped, with thick and smooth scales, displaying a beautiful iridescence. The external bones of the skull and scales cover have small tubercles, the operculum bone is somewhat rectangular, the suboperculum is smaller than the preoperculum, and the interoperculum is triangular. The scales on the sides of the anterior trunk are slightly rectangular. The specimen is preserved with its head facing upwards, showing intricate details throughout the body, including facial teeth, nodules, and shiny scales. The matrix has experienced fractures as indicated by the yellow line in the 12th image. A corner of the matrix has been filled with artificial material to complete it, and the back is reinforced with a glued stone slab. Matrix dimensions 28.5*19.5*1.4cm, and the fossils is 21cm.
