This Nikka Pure Malt Whisky presents an aroma of toffee-filled wafer biscuits. It has a very light alcoholic presence yet a distinct flavor, which is quickly followed by the emergence of woody notes and citrus fruits, making for a rapid and elusive transformation.

Aroma: It starts with a flour-like malty scent and a hint of the bubble gum-like alcohol note characteristic of young white spirits. A second nosing reveals a change to toffee-filled wafers. The aroma is very light yet distinct and quickly evolves into woody notes with citrus fruits, making it fast-changing and hard to pin down.

Palate: Creamy caramel notes lead the way. It has a light, approachable body that bursts and expands upon swallowing, providing warmth without any burn. A citrus fruit finish lingers in the throat.

Finish: The balance is excellent, with citrus fruit notes that linger in the throat.
