Omas Samo - Limited Edition Fountain pen
The Omas Samo Limited Edition fountain pen is a tribute to the trade between cultures of West and East. In the 6th century BC when the island of Samos was a focal point of the trade throughout the Aegean sea. There is much history on the island including the invention of modern thought such as architecture, geometry, astronomy, engineering and poetry. Many great men were born here such as Pythagoras and Aristarchus.
The elongated clip is engraved with Omas and Samo representing a bridge between East and West. The barrel and cap are engraved with geography of the East and West.
There are 572 numbered and certified edition of 572 Omas Samo Limited Edition fountain pens in solid silver. The number 572 is the year Pythagoras was born(572 AD). There was also 14 pens made in solid rose gold with 14 diamonds on the clip. 14 being the sum of the three figures, 5, 7 and 2, once again the year of Pythagoras' birth.
The pen comes with original case and booklet. Please note that the displace case has a crack as you can see on the photos. Other than that the fountain pen itself is in excellent condiiton.
