Beskrivelse fra selgeren
«Courage: It is what it is...»
Introducing an exceptional contemporary interpretation by NO1R, this original mixed media artwork on paper revisits one of the most paradoxical characters in animation through a modern urban lens.
Titled “Courage: It is what it is...”, the artwork portrays a distorted and expressive canine figure, embodying the tension between fear and action. Known for living in constant anxiety while facing the unknown, the character represents a deeper narrative — courage is not the absence of fear, but acting despite it.
The ironic expression and exaggerated features reinforce this contradiction, while the surrounding graffiti elements and vibrant splashes add movement and raw street energy. The composition blends humor, chaos and emotional depth into a bold contemporary statement.
With vibrant colors and expressive textures, this hand painted artwork is created using airbrush, acrylic markers, acrylic paint and spray paint. The energetic drips, splashes and bold outlines reinforce the fusion between pop culture, street art and narrative symbolism.
