Koji Kasatani (born 1964) is a Japanese artist.
Etter å ha fullført kunstskolen i Firenze, Italia,
studerte jeg italienske keramiske teknikker.
Etter å ha kommet tilbake til Japan begynte jeg å utfordre meg selv til å skape verk som gikk utover grensene for keramikk.
Da jeg fant bananrester, farens favoritt, på kjøkkenet, var jeg overbevist om at dette var kunst, og siden den gang har jeg laget bananinspirerte verk i omtrent 18 år.
