Biography:
Daniela Scanu, born in the city of Brescia in 1976, has since childhood shown a marked creative aptitude, which directs her toward studies in fashion and drawing. She attends the institute " ipsia Fortuny" in Brescia, obtaining the diploma as stylist and fashion illustrator.
Subsequently, she does not continue in the fashion sector, but undertakes sports studies, which allow her to become an international judge of pole sports and a sports instructor.
She teaches for many years at sports centers and dance schools:
Pole sport, aerial hoop, yoga, Caribbean dances, oriental dances, ballroom dancing, yoga.
Thanks to her great tenacity and determination, she achieves excellent results as an international athlete.
Among the most important, we remember
The 1st place in Tortosa, Spain at the "WSG 2019",
The 2nd place in Finland "Championship 2019".
But her true vocation remains the art of photography, that silent love, which thanks to dance and sport she continues to cultivate, delving specifically into artistic nude, portraiture, conceptual photography.
Daniela Scanu's photographic world is capable of surprising and enchanting the viewer; her particular sensitivity and powerful expressive sense reach a point of strong convergence between artistic photography and painting/sculptural art.
The ability to translate a body into universal iconographies through which emotions and personal introspection travel.
The human body becomes the vehicle for transporting the soul, an expression of pain, but also of great inner rebirth.
