The Exceptional Sale spans works from all areas of art: Modern and Contemporary Art, Photography, Prints, and Classical Art. Leading the auction are important post war works, notably Yves Klein’s 1961 Monochrome und Feuer-triptyk and Pablo Picasso’s Peintre et Modèle. Dutch highlights include Hendrik Nicolaas Werkman’s graphic work Kalender 1944 and a vibrant watercolour by René Daniëls. Rounding out the sale is a selection from Martin Parr's iconic Common Sense series. With Parr's legacy currently celebrated in a major solo exhibition at Amsterdam's FOAM museum, these lots stand out as a highly topical opportunity for photography enthusiasts.
