Malgorzata Krakowiak vokste opp mellom staffelier og vevstoler hos foreldrene, kunstnere som malte, hvor den salte lukten av saueskinn blandet seg med malinger og terpentin.
Under studiene valgte hun også alternativet å male og arbeide med kunstnerisk stoff, som hun fortsatt utforsker med lidenskap. Gjennom årene har hun hovedsakelig utviklet sin karriere som Fiber Art-kunstner, med utstillinger av todimensjonale og tredimensjonale objekter, deltakelse i individuelle og gruppeutstillinger i anerkjente museer og gallerier i Polen, kunstnerens hjemland. Siden 2018 har hun bodd og arbeidet på Mallorca, hvor den ekstraordinære naturen på øya er hennes kilde til inspirasjon.
Hun inkluderer sine gleder i rikdommen av stoffets stofflighet, lys og farge i de nåværende syklusene FISH og SUBLIMAT, hvor hun bruker innovative teknikker for å kombinere malerienes og stoffets verdener.
I flere år har hun regelmessig deltatt på kunstmesser og lykkes i å utvikle samarbeid med designere. Kunstnerens verk finnes i private samlinger og offentlige institusjoner rundt om i verden.
